Skip Beat 2 - Tsuruga Ren is even more annoying than before.

Tsuruga Ren is only cool because of his looks. Actually, look-wise, Shoutaro is even hotter. But Shoutaro is an arsehole, so that makes Tsuruga Ren cooler.
I would normally continue on my rant that compares Shoutaro and Ren, but that’s not the purpose of this post, so I’ll just get to the episode. >_<
The focus of this episode was how Kyoko started her career, everything from giving poor Sawara sleep loss to right before the audition, which pissed me off because I haven’t read the manga (but I have it somewhere buried under everything) and I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. So I will take the liberty of reading the manga (if I can find it) after I’m done writing this post.
Anywho, Kyoko decided that in order to begin her career as a famous person, she had to join a company that wasn’t Shoutaro’s, but just as high in level. Sadly, for her, the company she ends up choosing is Tsuruga Ren’s company, which actually made me lol, until he started acting like a dick. Dammit, why are all the hot guys in Skip Beat such arseholes? It’s no fun fantasizing writing about them if they’re like that. But anyway, after her short and unproductive chat with Sawara, a worker at the company, she was kicked out by none other than Ren. Her next course of action was to wait outside for night to fall, and after it did, she met Sawara at the back entrance on his way out, followed him home like I do with the people I stalk, and literally haunted the place for the next 5 or 6 days, until Sawara finally gave in.
My favorite part was pinning up a picture of Tsuruga Ren and yelling at it. Darts would’ve been better.
Anyway, three days later, it’s audition time, and she gets to the audition place to, you know, audition. But she’s put down by the other audition-ers, and takes it out on a poor little kid who lost her mom. (That’s unusually harsh…)
Did I mention their boss? If Kyoko gets in (which we all know she will), she will have the awesomest boss EVAR. When I get a real job, I want a boss like that. Yes, the music, the maracas, the sombrero, the cape, EVERYTHING.
So anyway, they cut off the episode right before her audition starts, which is REALLY ANNOYING, but that doesn’t matter because 3 is already out and I really should get some more free time for blogging. Sigh. This episode was pretty equal to the last one animation wise, but I really liked this one better. The haunting of Sawara had me cracking up (and having my sister throw stuff at me again), and especially the part where she was getting dissed by the other people at the audition place. I know it sounds horrible, but I liked how they portrayed it. Reminded me of Soul Eater, which I really have to start blogging again… sigh.
You know what’s really ironic? Everybody’s talking about Pandora’s Box with Skip Beat finally out and everything, and today in class, we went over the legend of Pandora’s Box. Just a little interesting part of my day.
