Linkies to Awesome-tastical-tastic blogs

Yo. It’s well been over a month since I started blogging (yes, not including the month I wasn’t here), and I figured I should give a little shout out to some of the blogs that have given me great ideas to copy off of gave me inspiration to start a blog in the first place. I’ve stolen learned a lot from these blogs, and I can even remember the days I didn’t have a blog and was too timid to actually give a name, so I just flamed complimented them under the name “Anon.”

To kick this whole thing off, I’d like to start with THAT Anime Blog. THAT is one of the “big three.” I mean no offense to all the other blogs out there (and please, don’t take offense if you’re not on here. That just means I’m too stupid to recognize your awesomeness.), but I’ve always thought of the anime blogosphere in terms of the big three. And the first three blogs I came across were Star Crossed, THAT, and Random Curiosity. Kudos to all three! But yeah, those three are like Hades (try guessing), Zeus, and Poseidon, or Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven. They all have their own little traits, but the one I got to first was THAT. My friend was the one who got me started even looking at anime blogs, and she told me about THAT, so I checked it out, and I remember spending well over an hour reading through the archives. (How I found out about “Do You Know Oyashiro-sama? Yes! Hinamizawa!”) THAT is very funny and very sarcastic, which is why I like them so much. I also recall groveling at my computer and bowing down to Reverse Vampire for blogging Vampire Knight (I join you with the Kaname hate!). So, check out THAT before I get my flamethrower!

Next would be Star Crossed. While THAT is funny and sarcastic, Star Crossed is super organized and on time, and I envy psgels for that. (I also wish I could understand japanese, but I guess that pushing it, isn’t it?) Star Crossed is very analytical, and obviously has experience with anime. And while Death Note deserved more than an 84 (hmph), Star Crossed impresses me the most. (WHERE DO YOU GET THE FREE TIME.)

Random Curiosity is just awesome. Plain awesome. The amount of screen shots per episodic posts makes me go OH MY FLUCKING GAWD (SnagIT hates me, but seems to favor them.) Random Curiosity is also pretty serious and analytic, and spends more time writing about episodes with an impartial view, rather than ranting about them (Although ranting does make the world go round). My friend, the one who introduced me to THAT, now foams like The-Crazy-Foamy-Mouth-Guy from Avatar when talking about RC. Seriously, I have pictures.

Now that we have the Big Three out of the way (That name is going to stick whenever I speak about them. Sorry, but they’ve already established themselves under that name in my head. Sigh.), there are a bunch of other blogs that are also awesometastical-tastic. For example, the first that comes to my mind is Baka-Raptor. And the first thing I want to say is about the layout. IT IS FRICKING SWEET. I want a layout like that. Except it would be copying, and copying is only good for copyers, one of which I am not. The only change I would make is putting in a mudkip next to the raptor. YES. I LIEK MUDKIPS. btw, Baka-Raptor, love the Naruto Filler post. It made me crack up and have my sister throw things at me again.

Certafiably Insane also deserves a place of honor here, for their sense of humor and Code Geass lulz. (Although Code Trainwreck tops all in Code Geass lulz. 4chan is inevitably second, and Certifiably Insane is third.) The omakes were made of pure win. (FAAAAAAAAAAABULOUS) In fact, the omakes might be the only reason Certifiably Insane is up here. Love the sense of humor, so keep it coming! (Keep the flamethrower in mind.)

Ex-fansubber is MY YAOI SAVIOR. I BOW DOWN TO YOU, HINANO, FOR BLOGGING JUNJOU ROMANTICA 2. Although I haven’t seen the first ep yet (GO, AARINFANTASY, GO), my Feedreader picked up your post, so I am eternally grateful for not being the only one out there blogging Misaki-chan/Usagi-san’s buttsecks adventures through their life as gays. Aaaaaaaaanway… I love the layout (shoujo much?), and the smileys are awesome. I WANT THEM. But, again, that’d be copying (sigh). >_<

Edit: Whoopsy. Sorry ’bout that, Taiyaki. >_< Didn’t see the post until just now. Thanks to you for blogging JR 2!

Japanator is also pretty cool. While most of the posts aren’t episde focued, they are very informative yet funny which causes me to end up cracking up again and having my evil sister throw things at me. Speaking of my sister, she was watching me play that one video on that one Japanatainment about grandmas killing you, and boy, was she weirded out. Welcome to the anime blogosphere! Btw, Japanatens are personally my favorite.

Tenka Seiha is last, but of course not least. The Bihada Ichizoku post was AWESOME (BEST SHOW EVER), and made me crack up (again), which causes my sister to throw things at me (again). The sarcasm is awesome and witty (I love that word), and the layout is nice and simple. I can never understand how blogs like Tenka Seiha and Random Curiosity manage to get the patience for that amount of screenshots, as well. Screen shots always piss me off (maybe it’s just that SnagIT is an ass towards me.), so more kudos to you! :3

I guess that concludes it. I’ll add all these blogs to my currently nonexistent blogroll, because they are made of win. YES. ALL OF THEM. I order you now to look at them all. ALL OF YOU. RAWR.

There’s no shame in ripping me off. After all, I ripped off Maddox, and he’s the king of the universe.

    Baka-Raptor’s last blog post..Vote Krauser-tan in SaiMoe

Well, NOW there’s no shame, because you’ve said it’s okay. But before that, I would’ve gotten flamed if I stole anything. >_< ….Right?
