Really. She is. Hyper, pink haired, perky girls like that start ticking you off after more than 15 minutes of screen time in ONE EPISODE. GAH.
If you can’t tell already, this episode’s focus was Minorin, and the chemistry (or lack thereof) between she and Ryuuji. There was some Taiga (who is also starting to become an unessecarily annoying character) and some Kitamura, but not as much as last week’s episode. Also, animation quality has begun to decline, but not dramatically. It’s expected, I guess.
Along with highschool and the homework that comes with, Minorin somehow finds time to juggle multiple jobs and still have free time, along with the baseball club shown in the beginning. I kind of went “D:” when I found out because I HAVE NO FREE TIME AT ALL, WAH. Sniffle.
Anyway, Taiga and Ryuuji are now eating together again, and the episode starts with them at school, watching Minorin play baseball with the rest of the baseball club. Ryuuji goes through the normal “HOMIGAWD LYKE ITS TOTALLY MINORIN DROOL” and Taiga hits him (More unessecary violence.). After homeroom has started and eveyrbody’s in class, we find out about another one of Minorin’s hobbies/jobs (not sure if she gets paid?), working as a cell phone designer. Ryuuji rinses and repeats, and Taiga follows through by hitting him. … Again. Sigh.
After school, for dinner, the rice cooker is broken, and so Ryuuji and Taiga head to a family restaraunt, where Ryuuji finds Minorin, working as a waiter. Because Taiga’s friends with Minorin, the two of them (Ryuuji and Taiga, that is) get free sundaes, whoot. The next day, Ryuuji and Taiga are walking about aimlessly (either that or something else, I can’t remember), and happen upon Minorin at another job, working at a steamboat place. I lol’ed when Ryuuji’s uncle grabbed his butt.

But anyway, Ryuuji offers to help out with Taiga, just to get more time with Minorin, and Taiga ends up leaving with a bicycle that she can’t ride on a delivery a few blocks away. While she’s gone, Ryuuji and Minorin get trapped inside a large, dark warehouse that the uncle guy locked while they were inside, unknowing of their presence. The two pass the time singing (I also lol’ed at that), baseball, and eventually piling up crates to a window that the two can escape out of.
Taiga, on the other hand, COINCIDENTALLY (wink wink nudge nudge wink) meets up with Kitamura on her way back from running all the way to her destination and back. Kitamura compliments her a bit, which, of course, makes her fluttery and happy, before she heads back. I bet you twenty bucks it was more emotional in the manga, like episode 2.
In the end, Taiga gets back and finds the two of them in the ware house, and tries getting them out, but the ladder falls on the outside, so now they’re all stuck. (Back to the drawing board.) Lol.
I didn’t enjoy this as much as the last two episodes. And Taiga should seriously tone down on the killing Ryuuji, she’s getting annoying just becayse of that. Minorin has already ranked herself below the tolerance level in my book, so I’ll be ranting about how she sucks unless she does something awesome, like getting a geass. But that’ll never happen (Or will it?), so her chances are still pretty low. I have no idea how people can stand over fifteen minutes straight of her screentime. D: Perky, happy-go-lucky people piss me off. Sigh.
