About Me (aka that person sitting in the corner reading yaoi doujinshi)
Yup, finally got around to creating an “About” page. Some of you are probably wondering about me and my (in)sanity, so I bring to you the following:
My name: Jess (whoop dee doo.), but I’m thinking of picking up an alias. I’ll probably go for something silly, like Waffcake (Waffles and Pancakes. Waffcakes make the world go round.)
Interests: Art, manga (duh), anime (need I say it? duh), Diet Pepsi MAX, Altoids, pistachios, sleep, anything moe, and literature.
Anime Preferences and habits: YAOI. AND SHOUJO. (What else is there?) You get the idea. Shounen-ai, shoujo, horror, and ayakashi anime are all awesome. Decent animation is a huge plus, but if the animation is crappy, the minus side isn’t as bad. I love catchy OPs, and there has to be AT LEAST ONE extremely cliche, tall, blond bishie, and AT LEAST ONE short, pink haired uke. Seriously. On the other hand, popular, typical shounen is a complete turnoff (Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, etc.). Only exception is DGM.
Favorite anime: …You’re asking me to pick a favorite? MY HEAD WOULD IMPLODE ON THE SPOT. But, a BUNCH of my faves would be any shounen-ai (Namely Gravitation and Junjou Romantica), Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, D. Gray-Man (lol, I was deep in inner debate about DGM until around a week ago), Code Geass (”Nani, mai hunny?” “Spinzaku” “NOT THIS SHIT AGAIN” As you can tell, 4-chan has a HUGE influence on my thoughts of Code Geass.), Black Cat (WAZZUP, SVENNY-BABY), and Ouran High School Host Club.
Worst anime ever: BLEACH. DAMMIT, BLEACH, WHY?! (Tokyo Mew Mew also sucks a lot)
Personality: Spontaneous, funny(?), willing to accept, and weird. Really weird. The type of “I drink coke with milk, orange juice, and Cool Aid mixed in” weird. But I like that about me. Some of my negative traits are that my ego is bigger than the sun, I am way too lazy, I procrastinate, I brag, and I like to spend most of my days holed up in my basement playing Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, Cooking Mama, and Pheonix Wright: Ace Attorney (OBJECTION!!!).
Favorite anime character: Character? What’s with the lack of a plural suffix? The question is characters, my friend. And all my favorite anime characters happen to make up multiple shounen-ai/yaoi pairings, that I obsess over constantly. Top faves (not in any order) would be Suzalulu, UsagiMisaki, Sasunaru, Kandallen, and YukiShuu. Edit: I watched Kuro Shitsuji 5 and I saw this:

How I usually spend my free time: drawing, watching my 14 parakeets hop around their ginormous cage, spending time with my friends, but mostly HOMEWOOOOOOOOORK surfing the net. My favorite site is Newgrounds, it’s made of win. DevaintART, IAB, and Cracked.com, and Fanfiction.net are all also fun to browse.
