Seriously. LOOK AT THEM.

OH MY GOD. You’re sitting there wishing I hadn’t posted that, right? Well, I’m wishing the animators should’ve just given up on trying to make her look dreamy. Those eyes are going to give me more nightmares than Nunnaly’s eyes! And that’s saying something! …Right. So anyway, this was the final episode of World Destruction, and it wasn’t anything special. I think they could’ve done this way better.

To kick it off, they used one of Lia’s memories, from when she was “only one hundred years old.” She’d seen Kyrie back then (over 400 years ago), and listen to this. She says his hair was red instead of blond, as if it were on fire. Proof:

You see that, right? There are two things I want to point out. Firstly, I pictured Kyrie with his head actually on fire, and I cracked up. My sister gave me yet another weird look. Secondly, his hair is NOT red, let alone fiery red. Look closer. That is PINK. That is a brownish pinkish color. More Proof:

You can tell it’s NOT red, right?  Heck, it looks purply from here.

Aaaaanyway, now that I have the rant on Kyrie’s hair out of the way, I can attempt to talk like a sane person. When Naja and Lia wake up, they’re in the Labyrinth of Memories, and Lia has an injured arm. Somehow, they managed to survive the fall, and now they’re walking through the cave talking about how Kyrie managed to survive that long.

Meanwhile, outside, the doom that is Mr. Crocodile appeared, trying to get at the WDC. He tossed the Destruct Code down to the eagle guy, who caught it, and then Mr. Croc continued to attempt catching the WDC members. It cost him around 30 quarters, too:

Get it? Claw game? Quarters? …lol?

Ahem. Anyway, He was about to get Kyrie, but Toppi hopped in and used his superhuman strength to fend it off. Morte managed to grab the Destruct Code, and the trio ran for the Labyrinth of Memories AGAIN. However, Eagle brought a bazooka (I was reminded of that scene in the Dark Knight where the Joker had a bazooka and was shooting down that truck.), and Kyrie did the classic push friends away and sacrifice myself move, except he lived but the wall crumbled so he fell into the dark abyss below. Damn, Kyrie…

So Morte and Toppi get caught and are tortured by Eagle for answers on how to activate the Destruct Code, while Kyrie remembers the time when Reiben died. But this time was different. He saw himself there, with the pinkish hair (hey, that rhymes), and Reiben was urging Pink Kyrie to get out before he gets killed. But Pink Kyrie stayed, because he figured it would be a fruitless journey. Oh, and did I mention? Pink Kyrie is so much more badass than Kyrie. Check this out:

So anyway, Pink is about to explain something about the Destruct Code, but then Kyrie wakes up, but he’s not a blond anymore. He has the pink hair, and so now we can call Pink Kyrie just Kyrie. (Wow that’s confusing.) Kyrie just so happens to be wherever Naja and Lia are, so they say hi and stuff, but Mr. Croc busts in demanding Kyrie to go with him, but Lia beats him up cuz she sucks. Naja is about to ask Kyrie something, but he’s disappeared into thin air, cuz he’s awesome and badass.

So back at Eagle’s HQ, Morte is being tortured for the secret to the Destruct Code, but Kyrie kills the guards and breaks down the door, effectively interfering. Eagle attempts an attack, but the new and improved badass Kyrie shoots 500 volts of green lightning through him, and he kinda slumps over as if dead. Scratch that, he is dead. He frees Morte and Toppi, and explains that the black ball Morte was carrying around wasn’t the Destruct Code, it was just a bunch of the Destruct Code’s memories, and the REAL Destruct Code is Kyrie. And if someone really truly wished for the world to be destroyed, that power awakens.

Basically, now we have a creepy but badass Kyrie who is sending lightning throughout the world, and Agan’s ship that just HAPPENS to be passing by, and Naja and Lia who somehow managed to get out of the cave, and Toppi and Morte along with them. Wow. The funniest two comments in this episode were the following:

…lol. And then a few seconds after:

….Moar lol.

Sigh. So anyway, Morte does the classic jump off boat to stop Kyrie, because she just realized she DIDN’T want world destruction, and heads up to Kyrie and kisses him, blah blah blah, stops destroying world, the end. Oh, and Kyrie’s back to being a blond now, lulz.

What happened to Mr. Croc? How did Naja and Lia get out of the cave? Those are my two main questions. Not big ones, but still. A few things I wouldn’ve fixed throughout the series were the coincidential meetings with Agan, those creepy eyes in that last scene, and the sudden change of character for Kyrie. I mean, he was still Kyrie, but just with red hair, right? So… why did he all of a sudden get so badass? I’d also have preferred a KyrieLia ending, but whatevs.

Wah, World Destruction is done. That’s one more series ticked off the list. But then again, 5 new series came out today, and I have to do a first episode experience with them… Sigh. Hakushaku to Yousei will come someday, when the subs are out, I hope. It’s Wednesday already, jeesh.

Umm… I think I should probably say more about World Destruction, but I can’t think of anything interesting, so… uh, bye.
