If Kuro Shitsuji wasn’t yaoi before, it is now. O_O

The episode begins with Ciel and Sebastian at one of their houses in London, instead of the mansion, in attempt to get away from Tanaka and the others. However, their dreams of peace are crushed when they find Madame Red, Greil (YAY), and Rau staying there as well. Even so, Ciel gets down to work despite the annoyances, and starts his research on the Mysterious Murders from the last episode. The first step, of course, is always to check out the crime scene, so the five of them head to where the latest murder was staged.

However, the Scotland Yard (Ye Old Scottish Defense Force) was in charge of the place, and they were already looking into the matter. Ciel shrugged it off before heading to The Undertaker for details.

The Undertaker is awesome. Seriously, seriously awesome. The Undertaker is made of so much win, he’s almost twice as awesome as Sebastian. O_O

Sigh. That’s how cool The Undertaker is. The Undertaker is OFFICIALLY my new favorite character. w00t.

So Ciel and the others head to The Undertaker’s, a shop for decorating dead people, dressing up dead people, and picking out coffins for dead people. (lolwhut.) However, instead of paying normal currency for the information, The Undertaker asks for something different - the best joke they have. And while Madame Red and Rau’s jokes suck, Sebastian has a joke that is so hysterically awesome that nobody but The Undertaker can hear it. And after a few minutes of waiting outside (and some really demented laughing coming from the inside), Ciel and the others head back in and listen to The Undertaker’s explanation of things.

The prositutes that had been murdered had their uterus cut out - it was a clean, yet complicated cut, in which one had to slice the throat open in order to get the the womb out. With the new information, the gang left The Undertaker’s (I would’ve asked for an autograph first) and headed back to the house. That is, except for Sebastian, who jumped out of the carriage (which was pelting at full speed), already with a list of suspects in mind. By the time everybody got back, Sebastian had already tracked down and directly questioned every suspect on the list - at least over 100 different people, judging by his explanation of each individual suspect. I loved Greil’s reaction to Sebastian’s display of awesomeness:

Greil is so gay cute. He’s my favorite character personality-wise. :3

Sebastian also managed to narrow the list down to only one suspect that fit the description of “Jack the Ripper,” and that was Viscount Druitt. The Viscount was the owner of a large mansion in which he hosted several parties, yet there was rumor going around that he held special secret parties that only certain individuals could attend. Ciel understood this as the place where he sold the uteri (plural of uterus? I don’t know. >_<) of his victims, and he and Sebastian came up with a plan in which Ciel dressed up as a young lady and forced his way into the secret party, getting closer to the Viscount. Sure, there was all that extra stuff, but being a yaoi fangirl, my eyes just centered in on the fact that Ciel was dressing up as a FEMALE. OH MY GOD.

Ciel as a girl both cracks me up and sends me to my little desk to write fanfiction. LOTS. AND LOTS. OF FANFICTION. Not to mention Sebastian, who has to wear a disguise too:

Sebastian should wear glasses all the time. 24/7. It would make my day so much brighter in the mornings. >_<

But anyway, to both Ciel’s and Sebastian’s horror, Elizabeth happened to be at the party, too. Deciding to stay low and out of sight, the two weave their way through the party, avoiding Liz at all costs, even though she’s already caught sight of them and is trying to find Ciel to compliment his dress, unbeknownst to her that the girl in the cute, frilly, pink dress is actually Ciel. Lol.

Upon escape, the two cosplayers catch sight of the Viscount - who happens to be incredibly hot but I can’t like him because he’s a perv who happens to be on the other side of the hallway, talking with guests.

The Viscount also happens to have the advantage in looks. Just a teensie bit. A teensie weensie smidgen. Cough.

Just as Ciel and Sebastian begin to head towards him, though, a dance starts and blocks their way, and Ciel’s dancing lessons from episode 3 help a great amount as they decide to dance their way towards the Viscount. Once they reach it, the Viscount is already approaching Ciel, and Sebastian takes his leave.

Gawd, this must’ve been the best conversation Ciel has had with ANYONE in the series so far. Inner Ciel is screaming, kicking, and fighting, but outer Ciel is flirting and attempting to appeal to the Viscount. And finally, after subtle hints and several “if-you-know-what-i-mean” sentences, the Viscount agrees to take Ciel to a place where he’ll have even more fun.

….If you know what I mean. (lol)

When Ciel gets to the backroom, though, he’s hit with a sweet aroma, that happens to be a sleeping gas of some sort, and wakes up with a flashback to when Sebastian was getting Ciel dressed for the party:

Me likes implied yaoi. Me writes moar fanfiction on implied yaoi. O_O Sadly, though, it only turned out to be Ciel’s discomfort to the corset he was wearing, which may sound ridiculous written, but god, you should’ve seen it animated. XD

When he awakens, Ciel finds himself blindfolded and gagged, inside a cage on he stage of a large room. There’re several people watching, and the Viscount is also up there, trying to advertise Ciel’s organs. (lolwhut) Deciding that the time was now, Ciel called out to Sebastian, who abruptly arrived and beat the crap out of everyone, mission accomplished.

The next day, though, the gang finds out that Jack the Ripper is still out there and killing - another prostitute has died. LA GASP.

I loved this episode. Kuro Shitsuji just keeps on getting better and better, especially with the implied yaoi boost. XD I think now, Greil is ultimately my favorite character, but Sebastian a close second. And The Undertaker. Gotta love The Undertaker. XD I need to enlarge pictures of them and stick them on my wall. (and the scary thing is, I’ve done that before. You dream of them constantly if you fall asleep starting at them. O_O) Two or three more Kuro Shitsuji posts, and I’ll move on to catching up with other series - Junjou Romantica first, Hakushaku to Yousei after, Skip Beat after that (which I might end up dropping, sadly), Vampire Knight Guilty after that, and who knows what next. I also need to catch up to Soul Eater. D: I have the past five episodes downloaded, but I haven’t touched them. Sigh. But anyway, look forward to that.

I don’t care if the title is irrelevant to the god that is Sebastian - I failed my science test third period this morning. You know why? I spent 5 hours of my life studying a chart that my teacher SAID was going to be forty points of my grade. That’s right. We’re going over the Periodic Table AGAIN - and I memorized every group, every element in every group, all the properties, uses for each element. EVERYTHING. And as it ended up, I had to fill in ten blanks, 4 points each. I didn’t have to fill in a stupid chart. Not to mention, because I spent hours studying the chart, I didn’t study anything else - which means I fail the other part of the test, multiple choice/fill in the blank/matching/etc etc etc. I PHAILED MY FUGGIN SCIENCE TEST. And that’s today’s happy thought.

But you know, even though I failed my test and had a perfectly agonizing day afterwards, I got home, off the bus just an hour ago, and I thought, why don’t I watch some Kuro Shitsuji because I need to blog it anyway and I’m a few episodes behind? And the voice in the back of my head told me I really shouldn’t because I have a shitload of homework, but I just found my sledgehammer and made sure it didn’t pipe up again. And after an hour of Sebastian-sama (I watched 3, 4 and 5. >_<), I think I’m feeling much better. (I’M FEELING FAAAAAAAAAAABULOOOOOUS! ^_^)

Kuro Shitsuji is getting lots of both love and hate, but I think the latter suits what the general otaku population seems to think. However, I get foamy at the mouth over anything that has butlers, anything that is even remotely yaoi (just wait till i get to episode 4), and anything that has bishie. AKA, Kuro Shitsuji is WIN. ABSOLUTE, TOTAL WIN. I swear, EVERY EPISODE will be awesome, simply because Sebastian is a main character, therefore getting gratuitous amounts of ENERGY screentime.

But anyway, moving on to the episode. We all remember Greil fromthe last episode, right? Well, he’s back, and Ciel decided to take him in and have Sebastian train him as a butler. I love Greil, he’s so cute in his own little way. X3 Clumsy, inneficient, and of course the classic suicidal guilt:

Lulz. And so another member of the team comes along, for this episode, anyway.

After the usual morning havoc, Sebastian and Ciel head out to fetch a cane made specially for Ciel (Ciel, you cute wittle vertically challenged boy, you!), and hear about several mysterious murders, the victims all prostitutes. But that problem is solved later, and for now the main focus is back at the mansion.

Ah, the mansion. Everything is running as normal (with the exception of Greil, who’s out in the back trimming bushes), until, GASP, Real Tanaka appears.

Real Tanaka is either funny or just plain disturbing, somewhere in between all that. He has frighteningly accurate knowledge of the Phantomhive mansion, and talks about it while Greil trims bushes. Apparently, Ciel’s mansion burned down three years ago, and he had it rebuilt to look exactly the same as before, down to every scratch in every pillar. However, by the time Real Tanaka is done explaining that, he’s run out of steam, and he’s back to plain old Tanaka. Gotta love Tanaka.

It’s also at this point that Meilin notices what Greil did to the garden:

This is another reason to love Greil. XD (Foreshadowing much?)

Time goes by, and if you thought the morning was hectic, well, look again. Ciel and Sebastian come home to the mansion, only to be greeted with pink sparkles, unicorns, fairies, and other pretty magical thingies like that. Poor Greil was hanging by a noose on the ceiling, and Sebastian hurried to take him down, but a vicious 9 year old girl appeared. (Oh god. You know what this means.) Elizabeth, Ciel’s fiance, had taken the liberty of redoing the whole mansion with sparkly “cute” things, and even gifts Sebastian with a bonnet:

(I lol’d, that is, until my sister threw things at me. When did fifth graders get to be so violent?)

Elizabeth decided that they should host a dance party in celebration of making the mansion “cute,” and then grabbed Greil by his noose and dragged him out, with the purpose of making him “cuter.” >_<

Back up in Ciel’s study room, Sebastian asks about how Ciel’s going to deal with the dance, and realizes that Ciel can’t dance, making the whole thing much more difficult. So of course, since Ciel can’t worm his way out of this one, Sebastian takes the matter into his own hands and offers Ciel some lessons. -snort- (Just two more! I swear! These are the LAST TWO.)

I LOVE CIEL’S EXPRESSIONS. Yaoi bait ftw. (I have to restrain myself from sticking the picture of Sebastian squeezing Ciel’s cheek when trying to get him to smile. @_@)

Meanwhile, downstairs, Elizabeth is finally done with Greil’s outfit, but Greil isn’t exactly happy with it, proclaiming that he’d rather have it done in red, with a sexy slit down the side. (Foreshadowing much? Cough. And lol.)

Ciel soon appears, with magical dancing powahs, and in the outfit Elizabeth hand picked for him. However, she notices that Ciel’s not wearing the ring that she gave him - rather, a different blue ring, and she freaks before grabbing it off his hand. Ciel gets angry, and then infuriated when she throws it to the ground, breaking it in several different pieces. Ciel forgets that violence is never the answer (lol) and rushes to slap the poor nine year old (I think? She might be 10 or 11), but Sebastian stops him, and explains that the ring was passed down through several generations. Ciel gets himself calmed down before picking up the largest piece and chucking it out an open window, and then asking Elizabeth for a dance. Lolwhut.

Even thought the mood had just drastically changed from cute to uh-oh to oh shit to let’s dance, Elizabeth gladly accepts and Sebastian picks up a violin while Greil starts singing. 0_0

Insert montage of Sebastian playing the violin surprisingly well, Greil singing surprisingly well (gotta love Greil), and both Ciel and Elizabeth enjoying the dance, or at least pretending to. Afterwards, Greil offers to take Elizabeth home, which gets rid of both of them (sigh. I liked Greil.). Later on that night, Sebastian is getting Ciel to sleep, and he gives back the ring - new and complete, instead of broken up in pieces. But what do you expect? Sebastian is Sebastian. :3

Kuro Shitsuji just keeps getting better and better - so far, it’s my favorite Fall 2008 show. Chaos;HEAd has to be next, and Hakushaku to Yousei is third. I LURVES THEM ALL. But anyway, episode 3 felt like a prelude -not sure why. The first episode focused on both Ciel and his abilities, the second on Sebastian and HIS abilities, and the third felt like an overall. I wasn’t sure what the fourth might have, but oh, look forward to my post on it. Buahaha.

Really. Better late than never, no? -ignores the fact this episode came out over a month ago, on October 9th-

The second episode focused in on Sebastian’s abilities as a butler, and man, is he awesome. The producers decided to kick it off with the usual havoc, and I got this screenshot:

What’s wrong with this picture?

I love Meilin, Bard, and Finny. They must be the awesomest comedic reliefs ever, maybe with the exception of those guards from PotC1 when Jack was stealing the ship whose name has escaped me. Lol.

However, with the havoc comes the usual business, and Ciel is off playing pool while discussing debts and whatnot. One of the attendants just happens to be Azuro Vennel of the Ferro family, who, instead of leaving after Ciel finishes the game, hides up in Ciel’s room. (STALKER.)

While Sebastian is off cooking a pie for dinner, Ciel gets kidnapped by Azuro when he enters his room. And when Sebastian finds out, you can tell that there’s a promised action scene already. (w00t)

While Sebastian worries about saving Ciel (more importantly, being back in time for dinner), Ciel himself is at the mansion Azuro lives in, gagged and beaten up. Azuro plans on selling Ciel for a ransom, but, uh, things don’t quite turn out that way. Sebastian catches up with some guys who shot at him with a sniper (but he dogded) in a car, and he proceeds to chase them to the edge of a cliff, where he asks for use of their telephone.

Ho shet.

Kyaaaa! Sebastian is one of the awesomest bishie evar. Seriously. Then again, every bishie is at that magnitude of awesome.

So Azuro’s on the other line, and he just heard everything that happened - he was on the line since the sniper guys bolted from their hiding place. Sebastian is asking where Ciel is, but Azuro is speechless until Ciel says “Woof” from the background and Sebastian hangs up.

When Sebastian gets there, the promised action scene comes up, and Sebastian totally kicks ass with projectile dishes. Or, in other words, Sebastian is so badass he can beat up guys with AK-47’s using silverware. XD

Also, one of Sebastian’s skills is possibly revealed here. Back at the mansion, Finny and the others are looking for dishes to eat the pie from earlier with - but they can’t seem to find them, while Sebastian pulls forks and knives from his coat. It may’ve just been on the table where Sebastian was running at the time, or he might’ve stashed them there earlier. However, I think Sebastian may’ve used teleportation? Something like that.

However, when he reaches Azuro’s room, Sebastian gets sniped at and shot. And he’s laying on the floor, kind of dead (really dead), until Ciel tells him to get up, and VIOULA he gets up. And if the first episode wasn’t enough, it’s for certain now that Sebastian is abnormal. ಠ_ಠ

Sebastian’s teleportation powers are observed again, as he catches bullets that were shot at Ciel from where the gun stood pointing at his head. Azuro freaks, and his arm twists in a really painful way (I got flashbacks from Hyakko, when Torako twisted her ankle in the first episode. It REALLY ruined the mood, but hey.), and Ciel gets saved by Sebastian, who mentions a contract he holds with Ciel. Or at least, he’ll hold it until Ciel recieves a certain soul.

Azuro probably faces a horrible demise, and Sebastian ends the episode by carrying Ciel home, although they end up late for dinner. But that doesn’t matter, not when I have THIS screenshot:

BUAHAHA. I’m going to plaster that all over my bedroom walls now. -insert Raito laugh here-

But anyway, this episode was awesome, as expected. I love Sebastian’s character! Every series needs a badass bishie, and Sebastian certainly satisfies that role. Ciel creates yaoi bait, and that combined with the gothic theme and the comedic reliefs (of which everyone needs) makes this series 100% made of win.

PS - I also caught the joke in Junjou Romantica 2’s third episode! Lol. Misaki obviously enjoys Kuro Shitsuji as well. XD

PPS - The first manga cover has bishie Sebastian! -drool-

I’ve been seeing so many fricking zabuza swords. ಠ_ಠ Look at this:

I’m getting flashbacks from when I was watching NTAS. Ah, zabuza swords, those were the good old days.

Takumi has to see a therapist. So I LOL’d. And then I bugged out because they were serious about the whole thing. Takumi thinks he killed the guy, but he has no recollection of doing it, so he headed over to the hopital to get his case checked out. However, while there, he sees the doctor he worked with when he was a wee little boy (lol), and remembers the field trip he was SUPPOSED to take, but his mom didn’t let him, so he drew a picture of horrible things happening to the bus, and almost immediately after, the bus rolled off a cliff and sploded. A lot of people are starting to think that Takumi has prediction powahs, but I’m thinking the other way around… What if he has a grip on the future? Maybe he can control it with his feelings? Something like that.

But anyway, Takumi’s doctor back then said something interesting in a sentence that came up.

(lol.) But anyway, when he caught up to the doctor, he explained the symptoms, and they classified it as a case of sleepwalking, so they holed him up in a dark room and told him to sleep for three hours. Of course, while inside, he starts hallucinating again, this time with Seira (of course) dressed up in a nurse costume. Sweet dreams, nerd.

Meanwhile, Rimi’s at the library, trying to get to a book the history teacher wanted. However, she’s a short vertically challenged person, and can’t reach the book. So a girl heads over and gets it for her, before sitting down at a window and reading her own books. Rimi ponders over it, before heading off, away from the library.

Foreshadowing much? XD

Later on, after Takumi gets back from the hospital (with a lack of sleepwalking, too), he decides to research Yua’s theory. And, after a little more digging through websites (and a little more Seira delusions), Takumi comes across something interesting - a picture of himself at the time and place of the New Gene murder, running and holding a wimbled cross in his hands. (Oh, shet.) Then, after discovering that the picture was sent to him a day before the murder, he took matters further and searched for fortune telling on Google (Deluoode made me lol.) While browsing links, he comes across Phantasm Fes. A little more digging, and Phantasm turns out to be a band, with Fes as the lead female singer.

At the same time, Yua is researching, too, but she finds something almost completely different. A personality disorder called Dissociative Identity Disorder (found while browsing “We-Key Pedophiria, the Encyclopedia of Useless Knowledge”) gives the answer to Yua’s questions - Takumi has split personalities.

Okay, pause it right there. Fut the wuck? Split personalities? Wow. She must be desperate.

Since Takumi now has a hint on what’s going on, he decides to take action and he invites one of his friends to go along with him to a Phantasm concert, as they play in his city, Shibuya. When he gets there, though, Fes turns out to be Kishimoto Ayase, a student at his school. Also the girl from Rimi’s library scene. Takumi has no clue, though, and only really starts to freak out when movement stops. Everybody’s frozen in place, and Fes is moving slowly towards Takumi. Oh, and guess what? She has a bigass zabuza sword, too.

Soon, Takumi comes back to the present, and Fes is back on stage. Too bad for Taku, though, because she says the phrase, “Sono me, dare no me?” Whose eyes are those? (My sister inconviently added in “Your mom’s that’s whose eyes.” while I was watching, effectively ruining the mood. Sigh.) Upon hearing those words, he hurries away from the place, freaked out too much for one night.

The next day, Takumi and his sister headed out to get a cell phone, and they caught sight of the zabuza sword and its owner, in the first picture way above this sentence. Takumi was like “wtf,” but that little bit doesn’t matter as much as the next scene, in which he finds out about the fourth New Gene murder, known as the vampire case. Apparently, some poor soul got all his blood sucked out of him and his skin turned green, while on the toilet. His blood, instead of being inside him, was plastered all over the walls, with the phrase, “Sono me, dare no me?” written with the blood on the wall closest to the toilet.

I knew the series would have to pick up with the gore factor sooner or later, and I guess this was it. Weird, I was expecting a lot more blood with some of the vids and screen caps I’ve seen, but whatever. Chaos;HEAd is still pretty awesome.

Impressions? Takumi is so unintentionally funny. He would be the comedic relief if he weren’t the main character. And Rimi has effectively lost the creepy part of her - she doesn’t seem as scary or threatening to Takumi as before, and neither does Yua. We haven’t seen either of them with the zabuza sword yet (except for Rimi, who got her moment in the first few minutes of the show), but the OP says it’ll come sometime soon, so who knows? I’m expecting within the next few episodes Yua will show hers, and Rimi too. Fes seems like an interesting character, and I need explanations on the girl from the cell phone scene. She was introduced differently - and for some reason, all of these girls go to Takumi’s school. So far, if I had to choose an absolute genre, Chaos;HEAd would be half harem half horror, although I’m still not sure. Horror is a definite, but then again, harem is pretty close to definite as well. -is confused-

Also, I’m going to ignore the fact I am 3 episodes behind on most of the shows I’m blogging. I got sick with a fever of 102 the other day, so I didn’t work AT ALL, but today, I shall prevail! (I’m going to ignore the fact that I say that every time, yet every time it’s a lie, too.) Anyway, look forward (or not) to a Kuro Shitsuji post next… the second episode needs my opinions! XD

If so, what do you think? Rolo’s voice sounded like Kermit five times dorkified, Kallen just plain sucked, and I guess Lulu was okay. I know it’s a little late to be saying it (missed the first season dub), but still - it was, um, interesting for me. If interesting counts as snorting chewed rice up my nose and choking on chicken. XD

Isn’t it beautiful? Gorgeous?! CAPTIVATING?!? Why yes, YES IT FUGGIN IS. And I’m going to enlarge it by 20 times and stick it on my wall, for the whole world to see.

But I digress.

I absolutely LOVED episode three, and it is all solely because of that image right there. The one above this sentence. I would post a third copy, but that would be going overboard, not that I haven’t already. The episode focused on Aidou and his relationship with Kaname, and for once, I didn’t mind an extremely long flashback.

The episode began with Aidou sneaking into a different dorm (which has a name, but I forgot it due to its unimportance), and Yuuki found him and took him in, with the hopes of finding out what he was up to. (Supposedly it was a dorm he wasn’t allowed in, so I think it was a human dorm, but whatever. It was Zero’s dorm, and that’s all that really matters. >_<) Inside said dorm, Aidou explained that he didn’t want to stay over at his dorm, and them demanded food and water, while Yuuki and Zero discussed where he would stay the night. Zero’s dorm was rejected by both sides, and he obviously couldn’t stay where he was now. Either way, Yuuki and Zero set to cooking while Aidou magically transported to a bath tub, where he had his long, yet cute flashback. (Seriously. Wtf is up with the tub?)

Aidou’s memories of Kaname go back to when he was a wee little youngun, about 6 or 7.

(HE WAS THE MOST ADORABLE SHOTA EVER TO LIVE. Forget Hiro, Aidou shota is the cutest thing EVAR.)

The flashback consisted of Aidou doing homework, and rejecting friendship with Kaname. Even a few hours later, out in a sand box, when Kaname asks again, Aidou refuses harshly and insists he hates Kaname. A few years after, the two happen to meet at another formal party, where they have a short conversation on the balcony. Aidou reveals that he never hated Kaname - he just hated himself for not being able to admit he liked him. (Sound familiar?)

Somehow, he magically transports out of the bathtub and back to the couch in the dorm, and he’s already eaten three servings. Yet the kid is still hungry, so Yuuki offers to make some more, dragging Zero along with her. Of course, the producers decided they didn’t have enough angst (despite Aidou’s ten minute long section of the episode), and so they include a bit of Zero sucking Yuuki’s blood, out of nowhere. While that part was pointless, it was enough for Aidou to notice and quickly leave, back to wherever he came from. And in the end, Yuuki decided he only came for food. >_<

Shiki, on the other hand, visited his mother somewhere in the middle of the episode. His mother also happens to be a vampire (well no duh), and gets some of his blood while he’s combing out her hair. But that didn’t matter as much as the fact that Shiki looks godlike with his outfit during that part. I seriously could’ve gone rabid and foamed at the mouth while I watched it. ಠ_ಠ

Overall, the episode wasn’t much more than the usual angst/bishies, but that’s what it’s here for, right? I absolutely loved the balcony scene with shota Aidou, and the Shiki was an added bonus. Really, the only reason I (or anybody else, probably) would watch this and enjoy this is for the humor (in other words, the attempts at being serious) and the bishies (SHIKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII). Oh, and the gay Aidou was cute too. :3 Other than that, it’s basically angst with a small sprinkle of tasteless plot, the same as the first season. And about Soul Eater, I swear I’ll get to it eventually. I’ve skipped the past ten or so episodes, and I need to marathon it and then post on the latest one, so it will be here eventually. Eventually! T_T

ICHIGO DAAAAAAAAAAAISUKI! ICHIGO DAAAAAAAAAAAAISUKI! I JUST LOOOOOVE STRAWBERRIES!

Do you love strawberries? I JUST LOVE THEM. On the more sane side of life, this episode was awesome as usual. Haruhiko was betchy, but we got a deeper insight on his character along with it, so I don’t mind as much.

Anyway, Let me start by saying this much - This is shounen-ai (gay guys) bordering on yaoi (gay guys buttsecksing), so if that sort of thing bothers you, don’t even bother with the rest of this post.

The episode picked up almost exactly where the first left off, with Misaki and Usagi-san preparing for the speech, only a few hours away. Breakfast is… fun (foams at mouth)… but Usagi-san is still pissed at his brother for sending the flowers. However, in an hour or two, Usagi-san is composed and ready to act normal, and Isaka takes the wonderful opportunity before the party to warn Misaki to stay away from Uasgi-san while he’s speaking, because a large majority of the world is homophobic and so Usagi-san’s popularity would go down several notches and I just love run-on sentences.

I loved Misaki’s expressions during the speech. They were so cute! Ah, Misaki, you will probably never cease to amuse me.

Misaki decides to play it safe and does the smart thing, avoiding Usagi-san for the duration of the party, and rather occupies himself with talking to Asahina whatsisname, Isaka’s secretary from episode 7 (the date) of the first season. After a little thinking, though, Misaki realizes it would just be trouble for Usagi-san with Misaki’s very presence, and he leaves the party, with the lame excuse of having to use the bathroom.

If you squint and turn your head sideways a bit, you just see the uke-ness flowing out of Misaki. XD

On his way to the room, Misaki runs into Haruhiko, who offers a visit to his own room. Misaki had no choice but to oblige, since it would be rude otherwise. Which makes no sense, because the day before, Misaki was calling Haruhiko a moron and slamming elevator doors in his face. But hey, details details.

Once inside the room, Haruhiko sets down some strawberry cake and offers Misaki a slice, while Misaki tries (very incompetently) to start up a conversation that would actually sound smooth. After a while, Haruhiko asks about the flowers, and then inquires about other things Misaki enjoys. Feeling the awkward-ness of the situation, Misaki simply used the thing closest to him - strawberries (ICHIGO DAAAAAAAAAAISUKI!).

After the cake, Misaki gets up to leave, but Haruhiko attempts seme and confesses there and then, saying that he would steal away Misaki from Usagi-san. He manages to spit this all out with a straight face and no emotion in his voice, as well, which is quite a feat, to me. Haruhiko just doesn’t like Usagi-san, doesn’t he? First, he dissed novelists (betch), and now it’s this. Usagi-san really DOES lead the cliche life of a castaway, apparently.

Misaki takes the smart choice (as usual) and escapes, breaking free and dashing away from the room, thinking paranoid thoughts. However, when he runs into his own room, he bumps into Usagi-san, who went looking for Misaki when he disappeared. After an explanation about the events that came before, Usagi-san starts storming out, in an attempt to get to Haruhiko for some face arrangement. Misaki manages to hold him back, though (HAVEN’T YOU HEARD THAT VIOLENCE IS NEVER THE SOLUTION?!). And then… Then Usagi-san reassures Misaki that the poor uke belongs to him, and that it’s a destiny Misaki can’t escape, and then… AND THEN… (foams at mouth like a rabid fangirl. wait a minute, I AM a rabid fangirl…)

After the buttsecks, Misaki recieves another present from Haruhiko, this time a basket of strawberries. The best part was “Takahashi Misaki’s Secret Strawberry Life! ICHIGO DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAISUKI!” most definitely. XD

I really can’t help but love Junjou Romantica. Even if Usagi-san became a transvestite and Misaki turned into a pedophile, I would still fangirl over Junjou Romantica. And I have no clue why, either. >_< I can’t wait to see MOAR BUTTSECKS what extents Haruhiko is willing to go to to get Misaki on his side, and I NEED MY JUNJOU EGOIST/TERRORIST. I love Usagi-san and Misaki, but the last time I saw Nowki/Hiroki or Miyagi/Shinobu was my fifth time rewatching the series, back in August. D: (That came out wrong and now I sound like a really creepy stalker that rapes children with MY VERY PRESENCE.)

The animation was still up to par, and the voice acting prevails. I find it really funny that Takahiro Sakurai, the guy who voiced Suzaku, also voices Misaki. (The guy who voices Miyagi voiced Nyanko, from Natsume Yuujinchou. That’s funny, yet in a disturbing way.) Also, I NEED THE MANGA OM NOM NOM. I got 30 bucks for a Halloween costume, but I blew it all on shounen ai manga, so I didn’t have a very good costume. But hey, I got Loveless and Gravitaiton. :D But I’m getting off topic, so I think I’ll shut up now.

Happy belated Halloween, everyone! I went trick or treating last night, and now that Halloween is over and I have some peace and quiet (and a lack of homework, yay), I plan to catch up on a lot of series today, Skip Beat being one of them.

Episode 3 focused on Kyoko’s audition and her radish of DOOM. I was watching the episode with my friend, and the radish came up and she was like “FEAR THE RADISH OF DOOOOOOM.” And so every time the radish of doom is mentioned, it shall be suffixed with “of doom.”

Remember how episode 2 ended with Kyoko about to perform her audition, with her knife and radish of doom? Well, it turns out she’s an AWESOME chef, and is one of the few professional cooks in Japan that can actually do what she’s about to attempt: The Katsura Technique. Or, in other words, taking a radish and skinning it so that each layer taken off is thin as paper, eventually formed into a rose. Kyoko skins it well, but in the end, it turned into a cauliflower. Sigh.

The next test was a display of acting, in which one had to pretend to listen to a call on a cell phone and react as if they were actually the person recieving the call. Kyoko was doing great up until this part - Shotaro had taken away every ounce of love she had left in her, and so when she got the phone, instead of acting happy and caring, rather yelled at it and threw it on the ground, giving it a thousand death glares.

Ho boy.

Kyoko and Sawara discussed it over a cup of coffee, and later on, Kyoko went home and headed straight upstairs to get the regular dose of angst and just cry everything out. Too bad the moment was ruined with the flashbacks that followed almost directly after. D:

Fortunately, the boss from the company reconsidered her skill, and in the last few minutes of the episode, decides to give her a chance, as long as she learns to love while she advances. Overall, I didn’t really enjoy this episode as much as the last two. At first, I thought the first episode was the prologue, but now it feels like episode three ended the prologue, and her real career is about to begin. Depends on how one views it, I guess.

This post turned out surprisingly short, because I’m a lazy arse and I don’t have a lot to say about the episode. Sigh. Oh well, I promise Skip Beat 4 will be longer. XD

Sorry for the last post, again, but this’ll probably end up as my last first episode experience post because they’re getting SO DAMN ANNOYING. Gawd.

But, getting back on topic, I saw the first episode of Michiko to Hachin, and all that went through my head was “HOLY SHET IT’S CINDERELLA ALL OVER AGAIN. AND AGAIN. OH, AND LOOK, THAT’S THE THIRD TIME.” Seriously. The Michiko parts were done really well, and they showed Michiko’s personality very nicely, but the parts with Hana were just boring after a while. I mean, riding on and choking, and then holding an iron to someone’s face? That’s just unbelievable, especially for a child. But, hey, at least they got the message across. Now we all know for sure that Hana’s adopted family deserves to burn in the depths of hell.

On a nicer note, since a summary isn’t necessary (A large scale prisoner turns out to be an orphan’s mother and saves said orphan from her horrible adoped family), let’s move on to One Outs which was actually better than I figured it would be.

Normally, I’m not one for sports anime, but this was definitely above my sports anime standards. Of course, the fact that it’s done by Madhouse has a huge impact on everything. It focused on a famous baseball player, Kajimo or something, gambling, and a world class pitcher, whose name begins with a T (I think?) but otherwise escapes me. Pressed for time again, so I’m just going to give my impressions like the wimp I am.

I actually got hooked to the episode when I saw this picture:

Holy shet. That’s one more year off my pointless life. Did we really need to see something like that animated? NO. No, I could be a healthy young adult, but nope, I’m going to suffer from sleep loss and nightmares now. D:

Even so, I did manage to get through the whole episode, and surprisingly, I was wishing for more. See? Madhouse does cause miracles. I watched a full 25 minutes of baseball, which I normally despise. However, I might not be able to follow it the whole thing through, so I’ll probably end up waiting till it ends and then marathoning the whole thing, during Winter Break. Speaking of which, it snowed today. Is it just me, or is October kinda early for snow? Then again, I’m getting off topic, so I’m going to close the post off here because I’m a lazy bum. :P

Late, as usual. I’ll catch up later, REALLY. I’m not lying. >_< But anyway, this episode focused ON YUUKI’S STUPIDITY on Kaname’s ballroom party. I lol’d.

Yuuki is so stupid. Seriously. She demonstrated a lot of it last season, but it’s coming back. First it was the “Why don’t you have a drink, Zero?” from last episode, and now it’s wandering off in the middle of a vampire party, full of, you know, VAMPIRES. Kinda not smart, no?
The episode started with Yuuki and whatsername walking and having conversation, until a little boy came up to Yuuki and asked for her to accompany him to his mommy, who he’d gotten seperated from. The fact that the kid had different colored eyes should’ve hinted that he was a vampire or at least not normal (which equals bad most times in VK), but no, Yuuki demonstrates her stupidity yet again. Not even that, but she goes ALONE with the kid. UnLuckily, she doesn’t get killed or otherwise hurt, but the child does give her a kiss on her cheek in thanks when they reach wherever he wanted to go. Which, by the way, just happened to be Kaname’s party. And then she passed out, only for Akatsuki and other night class kids to find her.I got an awesome screenshot:

Lulz. I wouldn’t ignore her, just maybe give her a few kicks.

Meanwhile, inside, Zero is doing guard duty, but he catches a few glimpses of Ichiru, and maybe feels a hint of Shizuka’s presence. Later on, that hunter guy whose name has escaped me catches on to the fact that the chance of Ichiru and Zero being at the same place coincidentially is close to zero, being one of the only smart ones, but that’s virtually all that happened with Zero/Ichiru. (That takes away about 40% of the total angst in this show. 45% goes to Yuuki, and 5% is ditributed evenly among everyone else, except for maybe Aidou, who gets a little more.)

Yuuki, on the other hand, was picked up by Kaname and brought to a special room, somewhere in the mansion the party took place. She wakes up in a giant room, only to find Kaname himself waiting for her. Kaname warns her to not leave the room, though, because the aformentioned vampires were around, and then left to part-ay. Yuuki, however, being the blatantly stupid person she is, left after the little boy from before visited the room. She gets out onto an indoor balcony thing (not sure what it’s called), and sees Zero and the others and then manages to find her way back WITHOUT getting eaten. Although it would’ve been so funny if she was.

After she got back, Kaname paid another visit, telling her that he knew she had left, and therefore punishment was nessecary. The hentai hints are getting strong with each passing second, because the punishment was that Yuuki had to let Kaname stay in this position until he said it was okay:

See what I mean?

Kaname offered to turn her into a vampire, but of course it was a joke (a very bad one at that.), and although Yuuki would’ve loved to become something like that, she was crushed by his response.

So that’s how the party ended. The next day, Kaname mentioned that he knew her “yes” to his question was truthful, and not to be disappointed, even though he was kidding, and the episode ends on that note.

Holy crap. This episode was REALLY unintentionally funny. The animation still sucks, and the angst just keeps on building up, but it’s also getting funnier and funnier as it goes on. Reminds me of Code Geass, almost, but Code Geass was so much awesomer in so many ways.

And, uh, is it just me, or am I really two weeks behind blogging this and everything else? WAH. T_T
